This week’s session was all about the environment and several of the Cubs made pledges as to what they could do to help – see photo. We also did blind tastings of plant-based versions of some Cub favourites (cocktail sausages, mild cheddar, pepperoni, chicken slices, milk).
It’s fair to say, although some of the Cubs enjoyed tasting the plant-based versions, the vast majority were much less keen, and judging by their reactions (ew! yuck! gross! slimy!) we won’t be making significant changes to our camp menus anytime soon 😊! On the bright side, they did make some good windmills!
