On Tuesday 14th March we opened our 10th online bike sale, having previously sold over 600 bikes. The event proved to be as popular as ever with 52 bikes sold raising over £1,600. It is fantastic to think 1st Sunningdale Scouts are not only raising much needed funds, but importantly we are doing our bit for the environment through recycle, as well as helping the community by offering good value bikes to all.

Another brilliant quiz night was held on Friday 24th March at Holy Trinity Church. It was attended by over 160 people with 19 teams competing for the new trophy, designed and built by a former Scout Leader John Rathbone. The quiz was hotly contested, but eventually ‘Curry Club’ (pic, above) were victorious for a second time – many congratulations to them.

Through the quiz, raffle, and online auction we have been able to raise over £3,000. We will also be making a contribution of £500 to Holy Trinity Church who so kindly hosted the event again. A really big thank you to everyone who contributed prizes to the raffle and auction; it made a huge difference.
