A truly Herculean Endeavour to celebrate the 2012 London Olympics. A band of enthusiastic Beavers, Cubs and Scouts from 1st Sunningdale, 1st Binfield, 6th Bracknell and 1st South Ascot climbed the Earleywood tower a mere 365 times in just TWO DAYS ….. which is the same height as Mount Olympus (2,917m). Fantastic!!

Girls first appeared in the 1st Sunningdale records in January 1996, when there were 2 girls in Beavers along with 15 boys.

An award was established in memory of long-standing Scout Leader Bill “Skip” Connolly, following his death in 1994.
