The Explorers are back from a weekend of caving and abseiling in the Mendip hills. We had a great time down the dry caves of Goatchurch Cavern, near Cheddar Gorge, squeezing through very tight spaces – some of us managed the famous ‘drainpipe’ route.Then we moved to the wet Swildons Hole – a tricky caving…

This week our theme at Cubs was Remembrance. We walked down to Holy Trinity Church to see the War Memorial and look at the War Graves in the churchyard. Reverend Jon showed us the plaques inside the Church and the Cubs lit a candle in remembrance. Ahead of Sunday’s parade the Cubs also got “crafty”…

1st Sunningdale’s October Quiz night at Holy Trinity Church was a night of gastronomic delights and cerebral challenges. With over 168 attendees, across 21 teams, the Scout group was able to raise an impressive £3,919 for its ‘New Hut’ project, whilst also contributing to the church’s ‘Transforming Trinity’ project.

There was a good representation of Beavers and Cubs at the Harvest Festival service this morning at Holy Trinity Church, Sunningdale.
